USA Cycling welcomes a diverse range of Speakers to headline the Inaugural Inclusion Conference and Opens Registration

Aug 25, 2021 (COLORADO SPRINGS, CO) – With the guidance and support of inclusivity experts, industry partners, athletes and sport advocates, USA Cycling will host the first ever Cycling Inclusion Conference on Sept 10 and 11 at the USAC headquarters in Colorado Springs, offering both in person and virtual attendance options.

The target audience for the conference is cycling industry representatives with a view to educate and inform and to establish strategic collaborations designed to increase inclusion in the sport moving forward.

With the target audience in mind, the conference will feature speakers and panels covering a range of critical topics including:

  • and more

“We are truly impressed with how many individuals, brands, and groups proactively reached out to us and agreed to participate,” said USA Cycling president and CEO, Rob DeMartini. “ With guidance from USA Cycling’s DEI Task Force, The Inclusion Playbook and members of the four underrepresented communities, the Conference agenda includes a broad range of speakers and panelists who are sure to collectively cultivate challenging and honest conversations about the current state of the sport and what must happen to move the sport forward toward a more inclusive future. This is the beginning of what we hope will become an annual conversation and source of industry accountability.”

Attendance to the conference will be offered both in person and virtually. For those attending in person, all COVID protocols will be followed and a mask must be worn at all times inside. To register to attend in person, please visit our in-person registration page. Registration for virtual attendees can be found here. The Conference agenda and list of speakers can be found here.
